The SLINK80 heat-shrinkable system consists of a two-component solvent- free liquid epoxy primer, a wraparound heat shrinkable sleeve and a Closure Patch.
The heat-shrinkable sleeve consists of a heat-recoverable radiation crosslinked polyethylene backing coated with a hot-melt adhesive layer.
The heat-shrinkable system can be supplied with a preattached closure patched in the factory as a one-piece heat-shrinkable sleeve or with a separate closures supplied with bulk roll purchased material.
The epoxy Primer is a corrosion protection layer to improve cathodic disbonding resistance which is applied to cleaned and dry steel surface. |
